Ruff House presents to many organizations, schools and participates in events to raise awareness of animal plight. Ruff House Rescue is financially responsible for approved office visits to our specified veterinarians. As the foster, you may be required to administer medications as well as make sure that your foster pet gets to their vet visits if/when necessary. Training methods and tools may vary depending on dog-specific issues and owner involvement in solution-based training. Our trainers are balanced in their teachings and believe there is a variety of effective tools that can be used to train a dog.

Marti expanded her knowledge of dog psychology by attending Cesar Millans Courses; Training Cesars Way-Fundamentals Level I in 2015 and Level II in 2016. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through APDT and a member of IACP. She volunteers, fosters and trains dogs for some of the hound rescues.
